Originally established in 1836, Annandale Distillery is one of the oldest distilleries in the Lowlands. After lying dormant for nearly a century, the distillery underwent an extensive and meticulous restoration, finally reawakening in 2014. Since then, Annandale has gained acclaim for its focus on small-batch production, traditional methods, and exceptional cask management. This House of Malt exclusive is a single cask, cask strength release, filled in 2020 and drawn in 2025 from Cask #598. Matured exclusively in a hand-selected Oloroso sherry hogshead, this expression displays extraordinary depth, complexity, and a luxurious sherried character. Bottled at a natural cask strength of 60.4% ABV, it is presented without chill-filtration or added colour, preserving its full, authentic flavour.
